i have one in mind that i want and im thinking of saving my money for it but my father is so against spending a thousand dollars on just a purse. so is it worth it? will i love it?

If you’re teen, then no, it's not really worth it, especially if your father is paying for it. Is your family rich enough to afford a thousand dollar purse just for you? Or would that thousand dollars superior be spent on something that’ll benefit your entire family? Such as groceries, mortgage payments, automobile payments. Life is costly and it only going to get worse, so a thousand dollar purse when the family can't afford it is not worth the expense. You won't love it and after a while you’ll feel guilty.

And if you do save your own money, I still don't think it's worth it. With the same thousand dollars you spent on that purse, you could purchase a whole new wardrobe of bunches of pants, tops, dresses, and other brands of Purses that are much more appropriate for a teen. (like Betsey Jonson, I love her fall bags and Purses, huge, bright and shiny!) Wouldn't you love a whole bunch of new clothes that you can wear over and over rather than one purse which you might get fatigued of swiftly?

I love Chanel. It is beautifully crafted and designed and will never be “yesterday's fashion” but that is a lot of money. I personally would save it for something else, but if you really want it then by all means get it! Chanel is like one of the most notable and widely recognized fashion brands. It would be worth it.

i dont think so, then again i'm only 14 so i dont have that much money lol. personally, i think paying $1000 for a bag is WAY, way too much. i just think there are really adorable Purses and bags at a place like target or jcpenney for only $40 or whatever. so, get it if you really, really want it and think it is worth the price, but you never know, you could find something similar that you really like at another store for less!

It is an investment piece. As long as you know how to budget your money wisely (don't skimp on paying your mortage, utilities, car note, credit card bills just to purchase a bag.
