It seems to me Coach is out, as well as Dooney& Bourke. I rarely see any Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada, Burberry either. So what brand is in right now?

Dooney&Bourke, I never liked, it always looked tacky to me, but Coach, among the others that you've mentioned are timeless, and will never be 'out'.

You can try Marc Jacobs whos bags are simply fabulous. Chloé, and Cole Haan also have some bags. Fendi's spy bags, among others are adorable, but stay away from just the brown and jaquard print. Kate spade if you want something a bit plain. Don't even go close to the Juicy Coutures which shouldn't even be mentioned among these names.

Come on- most of those brands are timeless. Coach, Gucci, Prada, and Louis Vuitton especially. They’ll hardly ever be “out.”

Needless to say, I guess there's a lot of more young Designers- Marc by Marc Jacobs, Chloe (including their new line See by Chloe), I've noticed Harajuku Lovers by Gwen Stefani gaining popularity recently.

However, some Designers- Chanel, for example, as well as many you metioned- are classic; they will never go out of style.

Coach isnt really out but its not exactly the hottest Designer and to me Dooney and Bourke is like the cheapest most tacky Designer but Louis Vuitton and Chanel are always in and so is Prada and Burberry.
