& other girls want to be like them & so they purchase fake ones & call them real because they want to get noticed as a popular & rich girl & just to be able to fit in .

I asked my co-workers this exact question because they fly to New York City to purchase Designer knock-offs. They stated they like the knock-offs because they're more affordable than the real ones. And apparently the real ones are made of high-quality, long-lasting materials. I asked why do they like the “poorly-made, cheap knock-offs” if they aren't made nearly as well. Their response? Because they like “how it looks.” Sounds very shallow and a waste of money to me, but to each their own!

It has nothing to do with ghetto, I know rich kids that buy knock -offs its because its cheaper, and that people wouldn't bother thinking its fake since their rich. I say if you can't buy the real thing, then buy something else.
